The Longest Strudel - 20.09. Biograd na moru

Maraschino cherries are the traditional product of this region, and they say that they are the most tasty cherries in the world! Promoting indigenous products from the Zadar area, strudels will be made just from these cherries and visitors will also be offered other products made from maraschino cherries such as maraschino liqueur, cherry-brandy, sour-cherry brandy, cherry juice and much besides. The length of the strudel will be 1200 metres and the manifestation will be recorded in the Guiness Book of Records as the longest strudel.

Open air New year's eve celebration in Fužine

Seeing out the old year and welcoming in the New Year at midnight in the open air is an original and attractive event which takes place in the centre of Fužine. Of course there is mulled wine and sausages, a local orchestra and an impressive firework display, all of which assure an unforgettable welcome and a wonderful experience for all the visitors. An internationally televised event visited by up to 10,000 people.

Čazma Christmas Story

All Christmas stories are romantic and educational, especially if you are a guest of the Salaj family in Grabovnica. At Christmas time, the Salaj family prepares a special treat for all the Christmas time enthusiasts, when their garden is alight with thousands of multicolored lights, offering all who come a magical sight and an idyllic atmosphere. The Christmas stable, the manger and the decorations all over the garden, including the multicolored Christmas lights and ornaments shining in the night, offer an unforgettable sense of a deep dream followed by awakening in a world of fairy tales, a world of a true Croatian Christmas story.

Santa Clause's House

This is a part of the story "Why Does Santa Clause Have a House in Kaštelir?" which will be shown in the small puppets theater as part of the Santa Clause House program. It is just one of many activities prepared for the children in this holiday season by the Kaštelir-Labinci Tourism Office. Tourism office is supported by locals and the local government. Thanks to the participants and sponsors all necessary material has been collected. Product of this hard work is the first Santa Clause House in the surroundings. It might have been better if we bought everything.. but it is certainly the most original.

Advent in Fažana

The Parish of Fažana and Tourist Board of Municipality Fažana will set for the first time the Advent wreath on the town's square in front of the church where people can light up Advent candels and there will be appropriate program which will be held 4 times on Sundays in December.

The program is following:
- Performance of the parish choir
- Lighting up the candles by the blessing of the Advent wreath
- Solemn Mass at the Church of St. Cosmas and Damian

Dreamlike book fair in Istria - 05.12.2013 - 15.12.2013

The largest book fair in Croatia, and an important literary event in Istria, takes place in the Secession-style building in Pula and, in addition to Croatian publishing, it promotes regional European publishing efforts. Apart from the sale of books at reduced prices, the Fair stages a range of other events: promotions of recent titles, meetings with authors 'Breakfast with authors', concerts, stage and video presentations, exhibitions - thus becoming a true book festival.

Villa 452 consists of 2 floors. On the first floor there are kitchen and living room, while on the second floor there are two gorgeous rustic bedrooms. The most exclusive part of villa is a pool with massage jets which is unique because of its position inside an old cottage with no roof that is linked with the villa.
