The cove Koromašna, Žirje island
Žirje is an island and a settlement in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea. Its name probably derives from the former thick forests of the Mediterranean oak the fruit of which is called zir. The coast is broken. The large bays are: Mikovica, Muna, Koromasna and Japlenisce on the northeast and Nozdra vela, Nozdra mala, Tratinska, Krusevica, Stupica vela, Stupica Mala and Kabal on the southwest. The cove Koromasna contains an ancient ship turned into a underwater museum and offers all the curious ones two types of amphora from the 2nd century B.C.
