Top 5 nudist beach in Istria

1. Beach Koversada, Vrsar: Koversada is a popular camping site and a tourist resort placed at the entrance to a Limski channel, southern from Vrsar. For many years it has been visited by many naturists from all over the world, families or singles. Within the settlement there are shops, ambulance, restaurants, post office, sport center, terraces with night music and a 5km long beaches. The beaches are rocky and paved, and the main is a sandy beach awarded with a Blue flag. On this beach you can find many extra facilities for kids and adults as well as a large offer of sport activities. You can rent different sports equipments like parasols and deck chairs. Koversada is a small naturist town, connected by a bridge with the same named islet which is reserved for tents. If you are a naturist lover, this is a perfect place that you must visit.

2. Beach St. Andrew Island (Red Island), Rovinj: Crveni Otok is the biggest island in the Rovinarchipelago and there are many other connected islets like St. Andrija and Maškin, where you can see many beautiful beaches. They are mainly stony beaches with classical coves coated with pebbles. The most frequented beaches are the ones located on the south side of St. Andrews Island, near the hotel and the depandance. Here you can use many services like: restaurant, pool, miniature golf courses, diver center and others. A small part of the shore near the little port has been covered with gravel, making it suitable for children and seniors. There are a few high rocks on the west side of St. Andrew’s Island, which offer the possibility to dive into the sea, and it will be easier for you to find your own little corner on this side of the island, avoiding crowds and noise. Maškin Island is popular as a nudist mecca. The most seen beaches are located near the snack bar on the south side of the island. The beaches there are rocky, with a few smaller bays and they provide peace and privacy.

3. Beach Kanegra, Savudrija, Umag: The town of Savudrija, just near the same named tourist resort lies the Kanegra beach. The beach is located in one of the most beautiful coves on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula. Near the coastline grow many trees that provide plenty of shade and that's why is this beach ideal for spending the all day there. The beach is covered by fine gravel and has an accesible entrance to the sea, which makes it ideal for families with little kids. In the tourist resort Kanegra are included naturist campsite and naturist beach.

4. Beach FKK AC Ulika, Porec: The beach is located on an oak-wood covered peninsula and it can be approached by paved walkways. Ulika is a rocky beach within the Naturist center camp Ulika, so it is a resort beach. The Ulika beach has beach guards, lifesaving equipment, first aid, facilities for recyclable waste, catering establishment, etc. Beach guards are present from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (May 15-September 30). The beach has bulletin board (info on conditions on the beach, results of sampling, map of sampling points, cultural and protected heritage, etc), camp reception giving all relevant information, eco-activities (waste collection and transportation, energy saving, eco- messages), signs, gazettes, regulation.

5. Beach Valalta, Rovinj: Valalta is a real heaven for all naturist lovers. Within the same named naturist camp which is a world known naturist resting resort, extents through the entire coast a long pebbly beach. On the beach there are restaurants, bars, different water slides, pools with sea water and many other fun facilities. The beach Valalta attracts with its natural beauty and untouched natural surroundings, and also with its crystal blue sea.
