The words stood out in the guide book “eating oysters in Ston should be an essential part of your trip“. Who was I to argue! Oysters for lunch on the way from Dubrovnik to Mostar sounded a great idea! In less than an hour we were driving onto the Peljesac Peninsular, noticing all the oyster farms ….rows and rows of floats as far as the eye can see. Mussels and other shellfish are also farmed here.
